Purpose statement

When students sign up for English classes, they need to be assessed in order to determine what level they should be in. The assessment process is a short interview, using a script. The lead assessor should be able to conduct interviews, but has the primary role of coordinating with other assessors to spread around the load of new students and ensuring they have the tools necessary to conduct assessments.

General responsibilities

  • maintain & distribute our internal tools used for assessing to Assessors
  • maintain electronic folder of our procedures and additional best practices resources for assessors
  • maintain list of active assessors & preferences (in our database)
