Link Wide Prayer Catalyst
Why? (purpose of this role)
Prayer is our first and main work for everyone, but it helps to have someone who thinks only for this and works to nurture more prayer for Link as a whole.
What? (goals of this role)
There is flexibility in exactly what this role does. But here are some ideas…
- Tuesday night prayer
- Confirming list. Confirming if current list of folks interested in prayer want to be on a reminder email about Tuesday night zoom prayer (I’d set up an automated email or text to remind them each Tuesday)
- Inviting those who are serving (e.g. military, board, bible study leaders, D&D, ESL team, etc.) to join us so we can pray over them (we can provide a list and script).
- Coordinating or thinking for Link wide prayer retreats.
- Responding to those who have expressed interest in prayer (similar to above)
- Sending prayer requests to those who have asked for them
- Providing or coordinating prayer coaching
- Debrief those who have been praying (e.g. for a specific ESL class or in other ways)
- Thinking for strategic prayer mobilization
