Why? (purpose of this role)
You don't have to have a degree to help someone with their technology. All you have to do is be willing to share what you know, or maybe even learn a little more. Do you actually enjoy technology? All the better!
What? (goals of this role)
This role can be custom fit based on your gifts. Here are examples of the available needs you could choose from:
- At one or more Thursday ESL class times (morning or evening or both)
- help students and teachers use the website to get registered during ESL on a Thursday (or Thursdays)
- help with AV in ESL classrooms at in our night school
- help set up speaker phones for those ESL classes doing hybrid (in-person + Zoom)
- help install the Square app so volunteers can take book payments
- help teachers with wifi
- remotely help volunteers with our CRM
- user test our CRM
- user test our websites
- and more…
