Purpose statement
Facilitate Link’s ability to meet mercy related needs of students.
Summary of goals
Teachers are the first line of defense when it comes to meeting material needs of their students. But at times the number or type of needs are too much for them, and they need to get support.
- Regularly pray for our ability to be the hands of Jesus by meeting the needs of our students.
- Coordinate directly with teachers
- Types of events for care:
- Births
- family deaths
- major medical events
- physical needs (could coordinate with diaconate of church near them)
- When Teachers are not able to meet the students’ needs, coordinate with Link Care Team (this is outside of ESL ministry).
