Role Details
This information is not public, either because it is too detailed for the website role overview or because it has sensitive information not fit for a public webpage.
Instructions / suggested best practices for recurring tasks:
-
Help manage ESL content on our website for internationals (internationallink.org)
-
Come up with content that would add benefit for our ESL students. Coordinate with those in ESL ministry to do this.
-
Add content to the website; adding design is a bonus. Our website allows you to do design work without needing to know coding.
-
Keep ESL information updated on the site, e.g. calendar, start of school, etc.
-
Coordinate with Link Digital Content Strategist before publishing pages / posts.
-
-
Help manage ESL training content on our website for volunteers & partners (team.internationallink.org)
-
Periodically (every month or two) check for ESL teacher training opportunities. We outsource this training to like-minded partner ministries:
-
PCA MNA ESL ministries
-
NAMB / Georgia Baptists
-
It is difficult to find their training opportunities online since they are run by the NAMB (nationally) but you register through local organizations (e.g. state baptist associations).
-
You can try contacting them here for information for GA / SC: https://www.literacymissionssbc.net/contact/
-
-
When you find some that are in the future and which are virtual, add them to our site (see these instructions)
-
-
Make sure all opportunities are on our team website. Here are examples of past training events you could duplicate:
-
NAMB hybrid (self-paced + live)
-
PCA MNA ESL all live
-
-
-
For volunteers: update https://team.internationallink.org site with all ESL dates
