ESL Student Registration – Help assessors know what assessments are needed

  • The assessment role is complicated and you help alleviate some of that burden by providing them registration / database info on what assessments are needed and what the self-assessment scores are.
  • This is especially needed during Launch Day.
  • Their raw score & suggested level if they already had a speaking assessment done. Check the printed list for this.
  • So fill take the student card and write this on it:
    • What their self-assessment was
      • If they registered ahead of time, you’ll find this on the assessment info sheet
      • If they registered when with you, check your email and look at the top to find their four scores
    • If they were level 5 in the previous school year only. If they were level 5 last year, we do not assess them again. If they were farther back than previous year, we still assess them.
