Why? (purpose of this role)
Any Link role that interacts with an international has a responsibility to honor Christ and serve well with other members of Link.
What? (goals of this role)
- Be a committed Christian, someone who is spiritually reborn and has a personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Agree to Link’s statement of faith.
- Be an active participant in a local church.
- Pray regularly for those you serve and others in Link that you serve with.
- Serving cross-culturally requires humility (see Philippians 2). This should result in a sensitivity to different cultures, and in being patient, understanding, flexible and teachable. And a sense of humor helps!
