Purpose statement
To help ESL teachers as they teach and care for internationals in their class.
Summary of goals
- Regularly pray for your students and the other volunteers on your Ministry Team (e.g. ESL Class)
- Be present in class to observe and to assist in teaching as appropriate
- Provide administrative / technical support as needed
- Relationally connect with students
- Other responsibilities as directed by Teachers
- You will need to set up a time with the Teacher to fill out this Assistant Teacher planning form together (just once per year).

Prerequisites
Fill out volunteer application form (see "apply" in the main menu), Be approved as an in-person volunteer, Be an active participant of a local church, If not a native English speaker, need to be advanced level without a strong accent
Training
This role is a great opportunity to see what it’s like to be an ESL Teacher without having the responsibility. We will help train you bit by bit as you are interested in it.
