Purpose statement

Meeting the needs of children can help meet the needs of their parents. Sometimes the children are even the ones who influence their parents to participate with us.

Summary of goals

  • Regularly pray for the children and their families.
  • With another female, care for children (elementary or pre-school) while their parents are in English class or Dinner & Discussion.
  • If you help out during English class, you would just pick one of the schools (morning or evening). Here is location information.
  • Here is general information about Dinner & Discussion. On Dinner & Discussion nights, the lead child care worker will do a simple teaching for the children.
  • Please arrive 15 minutes early.
  • Here you can see the expectations we have of the parents who leave their children with us during English. This form also gives you an idea of what limits we place on what you’re responsible for. We do not – at this time – require the same form to be completed for Dinner & Discussion parents.
  • Abide by First Pres Child Protection Policy.
