ESL Speaking Assessments
Why? (purpose of this role)
When students sign up for English classes, they need to be assessed in order to determine what level they should be in. When they are in a class that is a good fit for them, it helps them stay with us.
What? (goals of this role)
- Regularly pray that students will be placed in a class level that is helpful for their English and spiritual development.
- Receive next student & Placement Document.
- Do the speaking and (if needed) literacy assessments (we provide training and tools for this).
- Write speaking placement results on Placement Document.
- Return packet to next Welcome Team person on the Placement Document.
